I went to the revolution when it came to my hometown.

Fundies were in the White House and Webster had come down
From the anti-choice packed U.S. Supreme Court.
So I sang for the revolution at a rally in Melville town.
And the emcee at the rally was a woman in a purple gown.
She wore a studded wide-brim, would've done Bella Abzug proud,
And lord, she held the crowd.
